We develop high-quality stimulating video content and intellectual products for people living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia.
Caregivers, family members, recreation managers at nursing homes and everyone caring for people with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia face the same challenge: when it becomes hard for a loved one to follow TV shows or group activities, today’s media offers little, if any, alternative.
Developing a new series of videos aimed specifically at this audience, Intellicare addresses mind and body to provoke thought and reaction. With a leader or in a one-on-one setting, Intellicare works like a slow-paced quiz, not overstraining the viewers’ perception like ordinary news features, talk shows, or sitcoms.
Intellicare is created by Coreena Robertson, the Director of Recreation in the Life Enhancement & Wellness Department at a well-known accredited care home in Richmond BC. Working with the all of the products have been found to raise participation and overall enjoyability of group activities.
Our mission is to put great and effective tools in the hands of caregivers to engage and enhance the lives of their loved ones.
